I have always been artistic and creative, and drawn to caring for children. I graduated college with a degree in graphic arts and worked in floral design for many years before becoming owner of a flower shop with Kevin 3 years ago. In high school, I babysat for several families and taught religious education in my church. My spiritual life has matured to challenge traditional religious ideas and work to open peoples minds. Becoming a parent and bringing up a child in a loving family is part of that journey for me. Becoming a dad is something I have always dreamed of.

I'm more of the critical thinker and good at analyzing all sides of a situation. Opposites definitely do attract! I work in corporate marketing, so those traits come in handy at work. I just completed an MBA degree and now I'm looking forward to focusing on our family. When I don't have to be serious at work, I'm always ready to have fun. I can't wait build a doll house for our child or play with all the lego sets I've kept from my own childhood days. I was involved in the Big Brother program after graduating from college, and enjoyed creating fun memories with my "little brother."
