Family
Scott's entire family is a big part of our lives. They are great role models to us of what family truly means. Scott has 2 older brothers, Mike, married to Kelly with 3 children (Emily, Riley and Jack), brother Chris, and 1 younger sister, Stephanie.
We visit Scott's family in NJ many times throughout the year to share in holidays and special occasions. We also share a family vacation at the beach in the same area that Scott vacationed while growing up. Friends with their children and extended family visit over the week. Our future child will have so much fun!
Scott's parents adopted Stephanie from Korea when he was 9. I love her as much as I do my biological brothers, and she has helped us understand and appreciate the miracle of adoption. We chose domestic, open adoption because we believe having a connection with our future child's birth mother is important. We'll have so much to share with our child that my sister was not able to know about her own birth family.
